Summary
This policy is short because the site collects very little. The generator runs in your browser. You don't need an account, and I don't run ads or analytics today.
Information I collect
Messages you send me
If you write to me, I receive your name, email address and message through your own email app. I use them only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.
Names you save
When you press Save, the name goes into local storage in your browser. I can't see it. The Cookies Policy has the details.
Technical logs
Like most sites, my hosting provider may log technical data. That includes your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. This data helps deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors.
What you type into the generator
Your browser handles the style, letter and word you choose. None of it reaches a server I run.
How I use information
I use information for three purposes.
- To answer your messages and requests.
- To run, secure and maintain the site.
- To meet legal duties.
I do not sell personal information.
Cookies and local storage
Local storage powers the favorites feature, and nothing else. I don't set advertising or tracking cookies at this time. Read the Cookies Policy for specifics.
Third parties
A hosting provider delivers the site and handles technical data for me. I don't share personal data with advertisers or analytics services today. If that changes, I will update this policy first. I will also ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Pages here don't link to outside sites by default. If one does, I can't answer for that site's privacy practices.
How long I keep information
I keep emails only as long as I need them to handle your request, plus a short time after. Saved names stay in your browser until you remove them or clear your browser data. My hosting provider decides how long it keeps its logs.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct or delete your personal data. You may also be able to limit or object to some uses, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Californians can ask what personal information I hold and ask me to delete it.

Children's privacy
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent me something, please tell me and I will delete it.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, and I take reasonable steps to protect it. No method of storage or transfer is perfectly safe, so I can't promise absolute security.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
